What do you want to do with your time?

Truly?

I mean it. I spend a lot of time around people who claim to know what they want to do, but often through conversation I find that they have an idea of something they’d like to do, but they don’t know what it would be like, day to day, to actually do that thing.

So what do you want to do with your time?

As I get a little older, which I have to say I am enjoying, I find myself getting more and more specific about things I really want to do or try.

So, don’t tell me what your big main dream is, but what you want to do. When you wake up in the morning, how do you want your day to start? Where would you like to go? Where would you never want to go? What would your hobbies be?

Personally, I want to be a bbq pitmaster. Okay, maybe I wouldn’t compete, but I’d love to be grilling often, and invite people over to eat said grilled goodness. I’d also take boxing lessons if I could afford them, and am generally very interested in astrophysics. I’d also like to learn more about physics in general. That is what I would do with my free time, if the things I currently did with my free time were the things that paid me. Evenings looking into telescopes and weekend grilling or working out, and writing, laughing, and talking otherwise.

What about you?

I would like to begin the day with some yoga. Then a nice coffee reading some news. I would then dive deep into macro photography. Later I would cook something new and delicious for lunch (some Jamie Oliver recipe). In the afternoon, I would ride my bike. After that I would smoke something and absorb physics, cosmology, astrophysics, neuroscience and any interesting science subject on the internet.
